Issue
The problem facing a company involved in the construction industry was giving their area offices access to 10,000 invoices and statements produced each month. This was resolved by importing the sales information into an Alchemy database. The CD’s are re-issued every month and distributed around the UK so that each office has a full history for the year to date so that they can answer queries quickly and easily.
Solution
The customer emailed the files to Quantor each month and we produced a CD containing a progressive database. This means that each new CD contained all of the previous data as well as the current data so that the customer only had to search one CD. Multiple copies were made and distributed around the UK and Eire.
